Build a construction water supply schedule
Operations guides — TIMDAD
Build a construction water-supply schedule
A building site in Riyadh does not run on “send a tanker when someone remembers”. It runs on a weekday plan: water type (usually service water), size the gate can take, how many drops a week, and who opens the stand. That is the company contracts path — not a one-off villa message every afternoon.
What the schedule must name
| Item | Why it is on the sheet |
|---|---|
| Water type | Service water for mix and dust; drinking only if a separate tank exists |
| Size | Six / 12 / 18 / 32 after access — not after a slogan |
| Weekly trip count | A range is fine; “on demand” is not a plan |
| Window | Day shift, night gate, or Friday shutdown |
| Stand and hose | Where the truck stops without blocking the crane |
| Site contact | A name that answers when the truck is at the gate |
How to estimate the first week
Start from tank litres and how fast the crew empties them — see tank maths. Then watch two or three working days. If an 18-ton drop lasts one shift, do not write “one drop a week”. If a six lasts two days in an alley site, keep the six and add a weekday, rather than jumping to 32 tons that cannot enter.
Access before you print 32 tons on the sheet
A construction schedule that names 32 tons without a truck gate will fail on day one. Read whether 32 tons can access the site. Many finishing sites stay on 18 tons. Tight streets stay on a six.
Type stays locked
Do not switch a service-water stand to drinking because someone asked for a cooler fill on the same truck. Separate tanks, separate lines. Drinking vs service water.
What we do not put on a public page
We do not publish a fixed “construction tanker price” or a fake weekly volume for Riyadh. The offer follows district, size, wait at the gate and trip count — price factors. Documented supply operations (including large public sites) are scheduled after a site check, not claimed as if we built those projects. See Our work.
How to send the first schedule
- Site pin or district (Arabic neighborhood names are fine).
- Gate photo or a one-line access note.
- Planning litres or tank count.
- Proposed weekdays and a night/day window.
- A site contact who will be there.
Use the request form and mark it as a company / site job, or start from contracts.
Send weekly trip count, size after access, water type and a site contact. We lock the book after that — not from a slogan.
Common questions
Can the schedule change mid-week?
Yes if the crew or the pour changes. Tell us before the truck has already moved. A no-show at a locked gate is waiting on the job.
Do I need a contract for two drops?
Two drops can stay on the form. A repeating site should move to a schedule so the same size and type stay locked.
Is this the same as a home tanker?
No. A home is usually one tank and one window. A site is a week and a gate.
Last reminder
Write type, size after access, weekly count, window and a name at the gate. Then request. We confirm after site facts. 0568739666.
