When you need an 18-ton tanker
An 18-ton tanker suits most mid and large tank fills in Riyadh when the entrance can take a longer truck than a six. Choose it if today’s volume is more than one 6-ton drop and you do not want a repeat, and you do not need 32 tons on an open site. Why 18 tons shows up so often
Newer villa tanks, rest houses and finishing sites are often larger than a six and smaller than what justifies 32 tons every day. Eighteen tons balances volume with a chance of entering reasonably wide residential or commercial streets. That does not mean it fits every alley.
Signs 18 tons is the right size
- A ground tank you expect to use more than one six in the same day.
- A street that can hold a mid-size tanker, with room to reverse or turn.
- A small or mid project that needs a scheduled fill, not an emergency litre.

18 tons and drinking vs service water

Should I request 18 tons every time by default?
No. After the first fill you will know how many days the tank lasts. If it lasts two weeks, do not repeat 18 tons weekly “just in case”. Unjustified repeats raise cost and crowd the book. If use is steady for two weeks running, think about a contract with a trip cap instead of inflating every message.
